Conditions (Cracks/Breaks)
Before proceeding with the painting, we would like to gather information about the condition of the walls. If any walls require preparation or repairs before painting, please let us know. The wall preparation is optional—our team can simply proceed with painting if you prefer. It is not necessary to repair any walls unless you choose to do so.

Minor breakage: The wall has small imperfections, such as tiny nail holes, slight cracks, or uneven surfaces. Minimal touch-ups are required. Maximum, 1 inch diameter

Order and Furnishing
We want to ensure that there is at least a 2.5 ft wide walkway so the painter can move freely and achieve a perfect finish
No need to move anything. Everything is set and ready with a 2 ft clearance for painters to pass through, and nothing is obstructing the surface to be painted
Small furniture such as coffee tables, side tables, chairs, ottomans, and floor lamps need to be moved, along with removing paintings, curtains, and any other items that may obstruct the painting process.

Medium-sized furniture such as dressers, bookshelves, TV stands, and dining tables need to be moved to ensure clear access to the painting areas.

Large furniture such as sofas, wardrobes, bed frames, and large dining tables need to be moved, which requires two people to handle safely.

🧮 How to Calculate the Exterior Area of a House (in square feet or square meters)
🏠 Step-by-step Guide:
-
Measure the perimeter shape of the house
-
Go outside and walk around the house.
-
Sketch the shape from a top view (like a blueprint).
-
Most homes are rectangles or combinations of rectangles.
-
Measure the length of each side using a measuring tape or a laser measurer.
-
Write down all the side lengths.
-
-
Divide complex shapes into rectangles
-
If your house is L-shaped or irregular, break it into simple rectangles.
-
Label each section (e.g., Area A, Area B).
-
-
Use the formula for area of a rectangle
-
Add the areas of all rectangles
-
Calculate the area of each section you drew.
-
Add all the areas together.
-
-
Convert units if needed
-
If you measured in feet: the area will be in square feet (ft²).
-
If you measured in meters: the area will be in square meters (m²).
-
📐 Example:
Your house from above looks like this:
-
Rectangle A: 30 ft long × 20 ft wide → 600 ft²
-
Rectangle B (small extension): 10 ft × 5 ft → 50 ft²
Total Exterior Area = 600 + 50 = 650 ft²

The tallest wall has as many or fewer feet than:
(max 15ft)

Subtract Areas

How to calculate the area (in ft²) of rooms that do not require painting:
-
Measure the length and width of each room that won’t be painted:
-
Use a tape measure to get the dimensions in feet (ft).
-
Example: Length = 12 ft, Width = 10 ft
-
-
Calculate the area for each room:
-
Formula:
Room area = Length × Width -
Example:
12 ft × 10 ft = 120 ft²
-
-
Repeat this for all rooms that do not require painting.
-
Add all the excluded areas together to get the total area excluded from painting.
-
Enter the total in the field labeled “Areas excluded from painting (in ft²)”
Example:
-
Room 1: 12 ft × 10 ft = 120 ft²
-
Room 2: 8 ft × 10 ft = 80 ft²
Total excluded area = 120 + 80 = 200 ft²
Enter: 200 in the form.
